About Onen Emporium
We are a husband and wife team based in beautiful Cornwall, UK. Onen Emporium was born in 2013 as I began to design and make jewellery to raise funds to help me through a tattoo apprenticeship. Steve made an awesome coffin shelf to showcase my jewellery in the studio and the coffin was so popular we soon had regular enquiries and commissions so added them to our online store.
Our customer base has grown rapidly through the gothic community and our many fantastic reviews on Etsy and Ebay are testament to the love and care we put into our products and the quality of the items we sell. We’re so excited to launch our very own website and look forward to expanding our workshop and our product range in the near future.
All of our furniture items are handmade by Steve. He gained his carpentry skills through a traditional 5 year apprenticeship in all aspects of carpentry and joinery. Now, with over 30 years of experience including work on listed buildings such as the famous college buildings in Oxford, England, there isn’t much he can’t do and relishes working on those bespoke furniture items and custom orders.
Having completed a fine art degree as a mature student and going on to complete a tattoo apprenticeship, I still design and make jewellery but I am primarily a tattoo artist and studio owner at Onen Tattoo, an appointment only studio here in Cornwall. Being my own boss is a must for managing my time between tattoo bookings and Emporium duties.
